This is the Black 2005 I-Dog Pup (my second one) that I got in a lot of six I-Dog Pups from Ebay back in 2021 which came from a former Gemmy collector who happened to have 2 Silvers, 1 Blue, 2 Greens (one I’m keeping and one I gave to a good friend of mine), and this exact Black one from that lot. She’s in good condition and does have a little bit of marks but that doesn’t affect anything as it makes this one more unique because sometimes, I-Dogs with marks or stuff like that is a good memory where this one was once owned by someone else during their childhood before me years later, so I’m still enjoying her for how she is and she seems to be well loved for that particular matter which is quite special indeed.
She also fully works with no issues which is wonderful and has a normal pitch. Rock I-Dog Pups with normal pitches are my personal favorite but ones with lower or higher pitches are unique with the Rock Riffs it plays as well! It’s about the same as my Special Edition Dark Pink with Floral Flowers 2007 Rock I-Dog Pup who also has a normal pitch like this one but although, I think that one might be slightly lower pitched than my second Black 2005 Pup here, but it’s still pretty dang cool though I gotta say. To this day, I’m really happy that I rescued her from Ebay and giving her the love she deserves as an little I-Dog Pup.

This is also my second one as I do have a first one of this particular I-Dog that I got back in 2019. I’m still glad to have this one since it’s also the only I-Dog Pup in a shiny, black color and it plays really unique Rock Riffs which all sound great in each mood it has. It’s also quite common to find just like all of the 2005 I-Dog Pup colors produced are just like the Black 2005 I-Dog Pup.

Basic info: This is the Black 2005 I-Dog Pup that plays Rock Riffs and flashes all lights red. It was the fourth color of the 2005 Pups produced and plays crazy rock and roll riffs. It plays a total of 12 Riffs which is divided into three remixed riffs in each mood it has except sick. The Black 2005 I-Dog Pup was released in mid 2006 along with the other three 2005 Pups (Pink, Silver, and Blue) after the success of the Original 2005 I-Dog selling really well and it was the time when Hasbro officially announced that the 2005 I-Dog Pups and the I-Cat were in the making and to be released in stores back in 2006 which definitely sold really well in the past years of the popularity of the I-Dog rising more and more during the early 2000s. The 2005 I-Dog Pups were all available for quite a long time in stores which was in the years of 2006-2008. The Black 2005 I-Dog Pup is common to find just like all 2005 Pups are, especially based on how well it sold back in 2006 when it was first released. Also, the 2005 I-Dog Pups were released in stores after the Japanese Sega I-Dog Minis which were released in Japan in early 2006, and the Hasbro Canadian I-Dog Minis (that each had a little bit of different functionalities) in late 2005 and were more of approved ones with a try me switch and a little more functionality than what the Minis had which Hasbro made more complete for the 2005 Pups during the release of them all. This rocking roll black pup is always ready to move and groove to your tunes whether it’s rock or a different genre type of music you play for him, and isn’t even shy about that. Turn up your music loud, and watch him dance along to it and will flash his red lights to the rhythm while getting it down to the music playing. The I-Dog Pups have fantastic musical skills, despite being a tiny puppy I-Dog, and plays very good riffs to describe how he/she feels by how much you play/take care of it by giving attention (double nose clicks) and plenty of music it needs from you! Perfect for those who are a big fan of Rock just like this I-Dog Pup plays them in it’s own special way.
