This was an old video I forgot I even had of my Hasbro I-Cy (the super extremely high pitched one) on the exact day I got it in a lot with another I-Cy from Ebay back in 2019, and this was recorded exactly in September 16, 2019 (which was the exact day my I-Cy arrived, along with the other one shown).
So here’s the full story, I got my original I-Cy/I-Penguin from Ebay for a really decent price which happened to be sold with another I-Cy from the same seller that showed them both sold together in a listing where it was listed “Lot of 2”, and the reason I bought them both because one of them I wanted to give to someone I was once friends with back in high school (before he used and betrayed me) who started to like I-Dogs ever since I told him that I’m starting a collecting with these, and I even gave him a 1st Generation model White 2005 I-Dog which he loved so much where I decided, why not surprise him with an I-Cy which made me decided to get the cheap listing of two I-Cys for only $14 way back in 2019. When they arrived on September 16th, I got to test them both out and it was something I did not expect for one of them regarding of their pitches. One was a solid high pitch but the other was an SUPER EXTREMELY HIGH PITCHED I-Cy that I’ve never seen and/or heard before in my life of collecting I-Dogs, and to this day it’s still the record highest pitched I-Cy I’ve ever heard so far. After figuring out which one I wanted to keep while the other I’d give to my ex-friend years ago, I knew I had to keep the super really high pitched one as my official original I-Cy for many reasons, and plus it used to have problems with its mic where it would hear music for a little while then stop while it’s playing and did eventually get repaired years later, but the one that was a solid high pitch (and worked perfectly) was the one I ended up giving to my ex-friend back in high school and he was quite hyped when I surprised him with it, and he even named his I-Cy “Obama” 🤣
But the super extremely high pitched I-Cy I kept as my first original I-Cy as part of my I-Dog collection I still have to this day in my collection and is still working great, even after the mic repairs it had before, and you can also hear all the riffs I played on mine in the I-Cy mood riffs playlist I made of showcasing all the riffs a while back, but from my original super extremely high pitched I-Cy that you wouldn’t hear every day, especially since finding one with the highest pitch and/or the lowest pitch of any I-Dog and/or I-Cy can be hard to come by, and can be the record for their unique pitches out of the rest you hear for specific models of I-Dogs.
But anyways yeah, here’s an old video from 2019 I happened to find of my I-Cy (the one on the left with the super extremely high pitch) and my ex-friend’s I-Cy (the one on the right with the solid high pitch) when I was testing them out and playing their mood riffs side-by-side, to compare their unique pitches and boy does my I-Cy/I-Penguin hit some high notes during the mood riffs LOL
Also, you might notice that the batteries seem a bit low on these guys, but that’s because at the time I tested these out, I only had the six AAA batteries that weren’t the best since they’ve been used before and they were kinda low where the I-Cy/I-Penguins in the videos might move a bit slower than usual but it’s nothing to worry about as a couple days later I did get a set of brand new AAA batteries and they both still worked great, even after I filmed this way back the time they arrived back in the year of 2019 but if you see these guys moving a bit slower and/or their lights are a bit less bright, they’re not broken or anything, it’s just the batteries I had that weren’t the best at the time as they were the only AAA batteries I had before I got more.
