Who’s lurking in the starry night waiting to spook you, as well as make you hysterically laugh? It’s the one and only Twilight, aka one of the newest hamster characters introduced for the very first time in the new Zhu Zhu City Hamster line that was released as one of the Wave 2 City Hamsters since late November 2025! I absolutely love this hamster so much as its officially my personal favorite new City Hamster Zhu alongside with Nova (being my second most fav) in the Wave 2 color line of today’s Zhu Zhu City Hamsters! Everything about Twilight like his unique sounds, his pretty twilight blue-purple shaded combo fur, and perfectly detailed birthmark symbol is so great on this guy. I got Twilight (along with Nova) back in late December 2025 with my best friend @IDogFan41during our epic meetup and to this day, I can’t say anymore about how much I love this new City Hamster!
Fun fact: Unlike the other five City Hamsters in Wave 2, Twilight is the only one that has unique sounds of his own that no other Zhu Zhu Pets have that we know of, which probably makes Twilight a little bit more special than the rest.
Seriously, everything about Twilight is great and even his iconic explore mode sound at 0:43 that goes; “Go Go Go (Nyah Nyah Nyah)”, which sounds so unenthusiastic like he hates exploring or something. It’s so hilarious and unique at the same time for this guy. Definitely one of the best ones of the City Hamsters in today’s Zhu Zhu City Hamster line by far! Gotta love Twilight for his unique fur colors, and sounds he makes that are both hilarious and spooky at the same time. Twilight is also a huge fan of celebrating both Valentine’s Day & Halloween as well, according to Cepia!
The new Wave 2 Zhu Zhu City Hamsters (like Twilight) are all newly introduced characters that not only have such beautifully-patterned fur colors but also perfectly detailed birthmark symbols of their own, and each have their sounds in much higher quality compared to many of the original line of the Zhu Zhu Pets that each have their sounds slightly distorted.
I’m truly impressed with these guys in the new current line of the Zhu Zhu Pets.
Highly recommend getting a City Hamster like Twilight if you haven’t already while they’re still available at Walmart and/or ToyWiz stores.
