Fang Breaker? More like Camera Breaker
Rules:
- This is a low level run of zombero's hardtype mod: romhacking.net/hacks/3299
- The aim is to keep XP gain as low as possible without affecting my sanity.
- Hard mode, obviously
- No stat boosting items
- All other game mechanics are fair game!
Hardtype changes:
- HP: 5500 → 20000
- Lunge → Fang Breaker (Light phys damage + lowers attack)
- Mute Gaze → Chi Blast (AoE light phys damage + high crit rate)
- He now has Might
I thought I'd quickly whip this out before I continue the run proper, since it was easy to cobble together a suitable team using stuff from the compendium. Futomimi is definitely the lesser manikin boss now. He packs a hell of a punch, but if you survive the opening rounds the only real threat is Focus followed by double Fang Breaker crits on Demi. You could do the meme Attack Mirror strat here too since he still has only physicals. I used a 0 XP cheat to save pointless level up menus at the end, but he gives 10k, same as the angels.
