This video presents preliminary results on Haptic Feedback-based Reactive Navigation for Aerial Robots subject to Pose and Map Estimation Failure. THe goal is to develop a fall-back solution for aerial robots operating in very narrow environments and for which the localization and mapping solution might - temporarily - fail. A system of bending force sensors is integrated onboard the robot and facilitates safe touching and force sensing to enable reactive collision-resilient navigation.
