anyways up until marisson ikari was my favorite pokeani pairing, i love it so much, i'm constantly reading fanfic of them, like really i have the ffn page with their 'tag' as one of my most viewed pages on my phone, i just really love them? they don't even interact that much but like, every interaction they had made me so happy while i was watching d&p, and imagining how they could eventually meet again later and somehow find some common ground became really fun for me, i really do think they compliment each other so much.

oh man. this is really just. kinda shitty but i had to put smth out for my fave ff ship of all time..............i played it on pc actually a loooooong time ago. i mustve been like. 10 or 11. it was still pretty big on dA lmao if yall remember all the vincent propics...... that was around when i decided to play it. and..... i fell in love pretty instantly lmao
when aerith died in the original, i cried for a week. a WEEK. i remember distinctly bc it was during the last few weeks of summer and i kept going to the park to cry in peace where my parents wouldnt make fun of me LOL. i begged a friend to let me watch advent children at their house and cried even more. the love these two have for each other is so... pure. its beautiful. she may have initially been drawn to him bc of zack, but its so clear that she falls in love with CLOUD as CLOUD in the end, making it all the more painful. and this remake...
they really cranked that up to 11 i did not expect to cry even half as much as i did. or laugh as much as i did oh my gosh, they were so CUTE and then. a lot of the voice lines in this gmv are from the secret dream sequence you can get in chapter 14, and when i got it i bawled like a BABY.
you cant fall in love with me dont i get a say in this? is just so THEM, right down to their very core. the fact that this game hints that its not following the original completely, the fact that things are playing out differently and maybe just MAYBE we get to save aerith this time around.... i cant even explain how much that impacted me while playing.
ff7 isnt ff7 without aerith dying, but at the same time, everyone already knows what happens. part of the reason that it was so impactful in the og was because nobody expected it. and now, how can they possible create that same impact? i want to hope even though itll hurt twice as much if im wrong that subverting that expectation will create that impact.
ANYWAYS.................clerith means a lot to me. their love story turned tragedy hurts me so much, but i cant get enough of it. i remember when i was still a kid i went through every search result i could find on how to revive aerith secret aerith revival etc etc etc lmaoooo. i hope this time around, they get a happy ending.

idk how it happened but back in july when i was finally watching arc v braceletshipping quickly became my favorite ship in the franchise, and quickly skyrocketed to be one of my all time favorite ships ever. it pains me how arc v just threw away their entire potential (and yutos entire character for so much of the series but i digress) but i still love what interactions they had and absolutely adore what could have been. i love the way they grow to understand and accept one another even though it can be hard. i love the way they were willing to learn from each other and become inspired by each other. no i will never let go of this ship.
ANYWAYS, that aside, HAPPY NEW YEARS, its new years eve rn where i am but 2018 is coming in fast!!! seriously this year went by way too fast i still feel like it should be april tf. but regardless, ill be making all my dedications tomorrow, but thank you to everyone whos watched my edits and enjoyed them, it means so much to me that my hobby to show my love for some fictional assholes somehow makes all 900 something of you happy. seriously humbling.thank you to all the people ive met and become close with, thank you to everyone ive ever complained to who sat there and listened, and thank you to my friends for being my friends. yall are wonderful, and youll get your fancy ass dedications tomorrow you have to wait smh
