the kfc breakup is still getting to me alright

idk i really think jjk s2 ep5 was easily top 5 most well directed anime episodes ever animated. i think only the last 3 eps of 86 beat it. it was SO clever and just so much visual storytelling.... geto's shadow in the scene with the twins. the candle burning out. the sheer DIFFERENCE in the way geto and gojo think of the breakup (geto, triumphently, with an almost indifference to how it was actually happening, everyone in clear view as he really pays attention to the people and the world around him; while for gojo this was biggest failure of his life, it's dark, it's gloomy, he cares about nothing and no one besides geto) was so incredible. i am just so blown away. HI/PD and shibuya are my favorite arcs in jjk and i cannot tell you how incredibly grateful i am that mappa spent soooo much care with these first few episodes.... the kfc breakup HURTS man. it hurt the whole world!!!! even kfc the brand was hurt!!!!!!!!!!!

its so funny bc stsg is NOT my fave jjk ship (we all know what that is). they're up there. i love them. but it's much more of a "yeah this is just part of canon" kind of way. it's a lot like how i ship contest actually now that i think about it lmfao. intrinsic to the source material. cannot have the source material without it..... however is this not a stsg song also. like. oh my GOD. the speak now rerelease broke me i love that album so much. this song has always been my favorite off of it and it is VERY MUCH a stsg song now sorry i don't make the rules. follow me on spotify for banger playlists that include this song and adtr in your stsg fanmixes

tbh with y'all. i have been having a REALLY rough last few weeks. july was awful for me mentally and it's just been getting.. worse? idk. i'm not doing great! i am actively very not well! i have finally been diagnosed with my genetic disorder and i actually go in for further genetic testing (to make sure it is heds and not the other types of eds lmfao) tomorrow afternoon and it's not helping my already terrible anxiety lol but man. man. i'm just. tired. this was kind of a vent but not really lol just a way to destress and take my mind off things and i guess it worked. it's now almost midnight and i've slept so horribly and been dizzy for a few days now so i should probably get into bed. but thanks for watching as always and for reading tf you actually read all this lmao. peace
