I'm about to enter the operating room for a mid-face endoscopic lift, but today I’m not talking about the face lift. Instead, I want to focus on a part of the body that reveals age, in addition to the face of course, which is my primary focus. We often complete facial lifting procedures with, guess what, hand rejuvenation.
After a face lift, when someone looks like they’ve lost ten or twenty years thanks to the lifting effect, the hands often still reveal the patient’s age. What happens? In the hands, we notice a loss of tissue tone, the appearance of surface spots, and a decline in skin quality.
In this case, the Seffiller technique, a regenerative method, is the technique of choice. We take the patient’s own tissue and utilize mesenchymal stem cells, growth factors, and autologous exosomes to rejuvenate and regenerate the skin, providing a true anti-aging effect on the hands.
We also often combine peeling treatments, such as those based on trichloroacetic acid, which improve the surface quality of the skin, removing small spots and roughness. Therefore, the combination of Seffiller and TCA peeling leads to wonderful results, bringing the hands in harmony with the newly rejuvenated face.
