How many types of Mivel exist?
You often hear me talk about Mivel, an acronym for Minimal Incision Vertical Endoscopic Lifting, a technique that I designed and published. It's an endoscopic lifting designed to reposition tissues. But how many types of Mivel exist? There isn't just one: there are actually three.
Mivel One
It's mainly aimed at younger patients and simply serves to elongate the look, creating a sensual effect with a very natural and harmonious eye elongation.
Mivel Two
It's designed to reposition the entire medio-medial third of the face: therefore the periocular zone, the malar area and the zygomatic area.
Mivel Three
Particularly interesting because it not only elongates the eye and repositions the malar and zygomatic areas, but also lifts the jaw region. It's the most complete version of Mivel and is generally indicated for slightly more mature patients.
Remember therefore: there isn't just one Mivel, but three. Only an in-depth consultation can determine which version is most suitable for you.
