Friction Fire Tuesday - Weekly practice
A bit windy today. I tried using Bamboo as a fireboard earlier to no avail. Ended up getting hotspots on my hands and decided to go with a hand drill that's easy on the hands. I used a Dogfennel spindle with thumb loops. I also added a piece of automotive rubber hose as a sleeve over the spindle. A nice cushion when the hands are sore. Fireboard is from a 2x4 board.
I was also tinkering around with some video editing. I was toying with a free Star Trek transporter effect.
I ended up running outta battery power before I could show flame. Oh well, next time.
