I re-use the same natural bowstrings from my last 2 videos. I was curious to see how they'd do after drying out 4 or 5 days later. I figured they snap or slip too much, but surprisingly they still held up pretty well.
It took 4 attempts with the first set and 1 attempt with the 2nd. Success with both. Both sets were made from Longleaf Yellow Pine, Saw Palmetto as the bowstrings, and green vegetation as bearing-block lubricant.
