In this video we take a ride on Hamilton Street Railway’s route 2 Barton, which East and West between Hamilton Go Centre (Downtown) & Bell Manor Loop. Route 2 runs 7 days a week, almost 24 hours a day. The route uses 40 foot transit buses.
0812 is a 2008 New Flyer D40LF and is part of a 22 unit order (0801-0822) These units are powered by a Cummins 8.9L 280HP 6 Cylinder Turbocharged EPA2007 Diesel Engine (ISL) and a ZF 6HP 594C 6 Speed Automatic transmission. These units ride on MAN Axles, and have driver controlled heating and cooling for both driver and passengers. These buses also feature American Seating Innovator 850 seats for the passengers.
