In this video (intro video ends at 03:30), we explore Corny Groń by Jakub Skurzyński, a folkloric Polish solo RPG (built on the bones of Dark Fort) to see how its minimalist procedural generated framework can serve as a universal framework for your own procedural adventures (i.e. to tell stories you've had bouncing around in your mind)
We’ll first look at Corny Groń’s roots in Polish mountain folklore and its simple roll-and-write mechanics, then use it as a template for designing your own solo experience using the “Hack and Slash” Mad Libs Method from Man Alone (copyright pending)(on that whole paragraph) (minus Corny Gron that's not mine)(every other word I created and no one has ever said those words in that order)
By the end, you’ll have everything you need to reskin Corny Groń into something entirely new: your own emergent world!!! You should be excited you should be joyful you should be ECSTATIC!!

In this series of videos I seek to give a pass through games that I normally would not get and see if maybe I am closing myself off to some really good things. It is hard to convince me otherwise, though it is not popular to say these days that you must open yourself up to other ideas and strange experiences to know what you truly believe in too many things are overdetermined and the lines too clearly drawn it is helpful to step across the lines that we create in our head and see if there is something better on the other side (or at least good enough).
