Dawn Crim was appointed by Governor Evers in January 2019 as Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services. Prior to this position, she was the Assistant State Superintendent for Student and School Success at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. She also spent more than 25 years in higher education, most recently as associate dean for external relations in the UW-Madison School of Education.
She shares an overview of the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services operations and how they execute modernization efforts. She will also discuss equitable resources provided statewide which are aiding recovery and building a stronger Wisconsin.
