Michael Falbo was appointed interim president of the University of Wisconsin System to serve between Tommy Thompson’s resignation in March of this year and the start date of Thompson’s successor, Jay Rothman, who takes over the role of president of the UW System on June 1. Michael has served on the UW System Board of Regents for 11 years and was president of the board from 2013-2015. He has had a four-decade career in the banking industry and is former chairman and chief executive officer of State Financial Services Corporation which was acquired by Associated Banc-Corp of Green Bay in 2005. Michael is going to talk with us today about the UW System Leadership Transition.
