In this Video, I show how to trigger the "Marked Virus" and how to use it to mark other vehicles. I mark three random vehicles of the traffic and show they remain on the map even when away and entered other vehicles.
You need either the BP/FP/PP Avenger or the Heavy/BP/FP/PP/TP/EC/PC Landstalker at the garage. Both are Marked and without at least one of them, the Marked Virus is not possible. The Avenger is rewarded after passing level 15 of Avenging Angels at Portland. While the Landstalker is obtained after level 12 of "See the Sight Before Your Flight".
To activate the virus, fill the garage and open and close the garage a at least 10 times. Eventually all vehicles will be marked. The marked effect will remain in the game until you turn off the game. Also you can use it across the saves. You trigger the virus in one save, and use it on another.
Marked Vehicles remains on the map until you store them in the garage. So you can use this trick to obtain multiple vehicles until you unlocked all garages. Also some vehicles can be obtained without mission failure with the virus trigged, those having videos at LCS Special Vehicle Guide.
To unmark vehicles, you need enter a Firetruck and hold the down button. Then get out of the truck and enter the vehicles you want to unmark. Then release the button and it will trigger the Firefighter side-mission. The mission will cancel automatically, and your vehicle will be unmarked.
Even though the Avenger and the Landstalker are marked as well on PS2 and Mobile. However you can't apply it to the rest of the garage, thus being a feature exclusive to PSP.
