In this Video, I show how to obtain the Unique RC Bandit from the mission "Toyminator" with mission fail as it's the only way to get it. After I obtain it, I reload the Save and show that it's still where I left.
When you get to the Toyz van, you must exit as you entered it. That fails the mission, while you will be controlling the Bandit while on foot. You must drive the Bandit to the front of the safehouse and leave it there. Then you to save the game and reload the file. The Bandit will where you left and the RC controls will be removed. Now get a vehicle from traffic and park it over the Bandit. That allows you to teleport inside and drive the Bandit. You need to do that every time you drive Bandit or the games crashes. On Definitive Editon you only need to do this the very first you enter the Bandit, as you can teleport inside normally there without crashing the game.
Since this version of the Bandit is marked, it means will stay on the game even when reloading the save, thus not needing to store it in the garage. However, is recommended to get in the very end of the game, where you are to finish the game. That because is possible to lose the Bandit when changing Islands, as the game unloads the area you where previous to load the new area you enter. That means the Bandit can fall down the map and be lost forever. So be warned of that. Personally, I recommend leave this for secondary save rather than get it on the first one.
There another Bandit that is storable in the garage, though is not drivable besides Definitive Editon. If that interests you more than this particular Bandit, you see the video of it linked down the description.
