In Grand Theft Auto 3 for the PS2, it's common for gangs to attack you, especially after passing certain missions in the game. In fact, it's quite annoying - especially in Saint Mark's where the Mafia spawn - as you get shot at, making it hard to explore those areas in peace.
So, wouldn't it be great if you could stop gangs from attacking you? Well, there's a rumour that you can. However, it's unconfirmed. It requires the change costume cheat too, so it's not ideal for players who don't like to use cheats.
The method is to change costumes until you get the 'old guy' outfit. Apparently, he's the only ped that's immune to gangs. If it's true, then why is it true? I'm not sure...
