Vik Pandit-co-founder of Phycus Biotechnologies and bioengineer. Realizing the environmental problems with relying on petroleum starting materials, Vik spun his PhD research into his start-up.
Beta Montemayor-Head of Regulatory and Scientific Affairs and Director of Environmental Sciences and Regulation at Cosmetics Alliance Canada. A graduate of the University of Guelph, Beta is a toxicologist and risk assessor by training and brings over 20 years of experience managing product safety testing, compliance and regulatory advocacy programs.
Dayna Stein- Founder of bare market. She is trying to make refillable body, home care options, and reduced waste lifestyle items more physically and financially accessible to the everyday consumer. She holds a Bachelor of Science in sustainable food systems and food security and a Masters of Science in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability.
Jen Novakovich-Founder of The Eco Well. She has two bachelors of science degrees from the University of Guelph and completed her graduate studies in Cosmetic Chemistry, currently working as an independent formulation chemist - her expertise is in sustainable development.
