Most people don't want to go to jail. Most people haven't been to Sadler's Kitchen. Since 1943, the Sadler family has been feeding Jacksonville, Texas. And in 1995, grandson Rob Gowin walked away from a corporate career to keep that legacy alive. He moved the whole operation into the old city jailhouse. The 1930s jailhouse. The one that used to be the police station, the tax office, and home to every outlaw Cherokee County could round up.
