Grand Canyon National Park is an incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site, located in Arizona, USA. One of the world's most impressive and visited national parks, it covers the majestic Grand Canyon, formed over millions of years by the Colorado River. Although the canyon itself is only around 5-6 million years old, the rock at the lowest levels of the canyon is over a billion years old! Let's have a closer look.
