Picked up the Hero5 today, so wanted to compare its new Gyro Stabilisation with the Git2 which is much cheaper (almost a quarter of the price ) then Gopro5. I mounted the Gopro5 and Git2 side by side on a twin mount, and fitted my Hero3 underneath to show the unstabilised comparison.
This was running around after Harry, watching it back I think running was a bit ambitious and is too much movement to expect the stabilisation to cope with, so will try to do this again walking more smoothly, as I think that will be a better comparison with the Git2.
All three camera's in 1080/60 default settings, I've uploaded at 1080 60fps to make it as good a comparison as I can.
If you have any comments or suggestions for Hero5 video's (that haven't already been done on youtube), let me know and I will do my best to make them.
The voice recognition is really nice, and I think having only played with this for an hour or so, Linear mode and Voice control are the two big reasons to consider upgrading to Hero5, and voice control is unique I believe as none of the clones I've seen have this (but I suspect will in a few weeks ;)
