Good Games with Bad Ports Part 2:
Starting off we have Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis for GBA, if you thought Sonic 06 gave the title “Sonic The Hedgehog” a bad name, that’s nothing compared to literally butchering the original Sonic the Hedgehog for the SEGA Genesis, Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis for GBA is often viewed as being one of the worst ports in existence, with a horrific remixed soundtrack, extreme lag, and a very closed in screen... yeah, better stick with literally any other port of Sonic 1
Next we have Mortal Kombat: Advance, this is a port of the original Mortal Kombat, and this is commonly known as being one of, if not the worst game in the Mortal Kombat franchise as it has near impossible AI to battle against and is riddled with glitches
Next up is Batman: Arkham Knight for PC, when this port came out it was so bad it had to be pulled off of the steam page. The main complaints for this port stemmed from players facing frequent frame rate drops, 30 FPS locked in, and low resolution textures.
Lastly, let's discuss Mega Man & Bass, while the original is often viewed as being a decent game... the GBA port is not held in high regard due to the screen crunch and an overall poorer soundtrack compared to the original version
