1. I think I found this glitch in 2003 or so. I've posted about it before, but I've never seen a video, so I decided to make one. To perform the glitch, you need to find an enemy that drops an item that "stacks" in your inventory. Herbs are an example: if a character has 5 herbs, the herbs don't take up 5 slots; they take up one slot and have the number 5 on top of them. In this video, I use potions. When you defeat the Tempest Lizard at Crossbone Isle, he drops a potion. You can then fight him again by entering the loading zone and going back to the world map. To activate the glitch, you must fulfill several conditions:
* One character must have 30 potions (the maximum amount).
* Each other character must either have 30 potions or have all 15 inventory slots full.
* No one can have a number of potions from 1 to 29. In other words, if a character has a potion, they must have 30 potions.
* Not everyone can have 30 potions.
Now fight the lizard to get a potion. The game will tell you that you need to drop an item. Go to the character with 30 potions and drop any item other than the potions. The game will try to put the potion the lizard just dropped into the vacant inventory slot. This causes the game to display some weird characters and stop responding to input. The audio can also get screwed up. The crash might be related to the text that says "Isaac gave a Potion to xxx". That text might be programmed in such a way that "Isaac gave a Potion to Isaac" is not possible. Or the crash could be related to the fact that a character can't have two slots with the same "stackable" item.
2. They fixed the glitch in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. In this clip, I used game tickets instead of potions. After the battle was over, the game forced me to throw away the game ticket. This was a rather lazy way of fixing the glitch; they could have let you throw something else away in case you wanted to keep the item you just got.
