Gohan after the superhero arc is unsure that they could but we have to remember that the last time gohan saw them was during moro. These guys have gotten way stronger now and we’ve seen in the manga Goku can at least kinda fight Gohan when he tries. Due to the gap between Cell Max and Gohan,I believe Goku by himself can do pretty decent, and this isn't even accounting for Vegeta who not only could grow stronger as the fight goes on but these two worst case scenarios could fuse and surpass Cell Max.
