Kashimos first technical appearance is when he completely dismantled Panda in his strongest state like it was nothing. Which already shows him being capable of surpassing Grade 1s like Mechamaru. Mind you Kashimo is just now getting accustomed to this new body, as he's not a sorcerer from this era but rather from one from 400 years ago. We’d see him of course fight Kinji Hakari where he’d ultimately lose, however a lot of fans like to miss context within that fight and just run with the fact Hakari beat him. During the fight we see Kashimo not only display superior power and skill, but Kashimo just had way more chances to rip Hakari apart then vice versa. Hakaris best way of defeating Kashimo was gambling with luck, which Kashimo also gambled with as he didnt want to stall out Jackpot and rather fight it head on. And even after all of this, Hakari had to end up getting Kashimo in the water so that he could neutralize him. AND on top of all of that, Kashimo doesn't use his cursed technique as he wants to save it for Sukuna, meaning Hakari truly was never a threat to Kashimo to begin with. Now Kashimo’s other fight in the series unfortunately is against Sukuna, who uhhh, yeah ends up going back into his Heian Era Form. A Lot of people like to make fun of Kashimo for getting waffled and being the waffled one, but no one likes to talk about how he was the first one to fight Sukuna, meaning he fought arguably the least weakest version out of anyone in Shinjuku that wasn't Gojo. Kashimo during his fight with Sukuna immediately unleashes his cursed technique, which is the Mythic Beast Amber, a technique that enhances Kashimos physicality and it allowed him to overwhelm Meguna relatively quickly, this was before the transformation took full effect as well, but as we know Kashimos luck would come to an end when Sukuna transforms and would show off the world slash, along with a aoe version of this attack that turned him into a waffle. Kashimo in comparison to the rest of the verse would be a threat as he’s only one of the only characters who can shoot Lighting and enhanced blasts of these attacks with his cursed technique. Kashimo fortunately IS the only one in the verse who can shoot lighting so hey if you want to say he can also shoot light, then i guess the argument is there? But I think it's dumb so I'm ignoring it. Anywho Kashimo regardless is one of the only characters who can shoot some of the fastest attacks in the verse, with him also fighting the strongest version of Sukuna in shinjuku, meaning he would be WAY stronger than Sukuna in Shibuya and even Jogo in Shibuya, who both can cause earthquakes and destroy a majority of Shibuya, putting Kashimos BASE attack potency around the 2-4 megaton ranges. Kashimo himself has to be one of the strongest as that's kinda the point of his character. Kashimo is someone from a past era where he felt unsatisfied, and so he wanted to put his power to the test against Sukuna, since he was the strongest sorcery in history. Sukuna after meeting Kashimo and initially not thinking much of anyone other than Gojo, he’d soon quickly come to acknowledge Kashimo as strong and is someone who stands on a unique path similar to that of himself and Gojo. He could never truly satisfy his hunger until Shinjuku Showdown, and although everyone wants to say his death was sorry and he sucks, he in the end got what he wanted and finally satisfied his hunger. Jujutsu Kaisen is a sequel to Akutami's Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, serialized in Shueisha's Jump GIGA from April to July 2017, later collected in a tankōbon volume, retroactively titled as Jujutsu Kaisen 0, in December 2018. Jujutsu Kaisen is licensed for English-language release in North America by Viz Media, which has published the manga in print since December 2019. Shueisha publishes the series in English on the Manga Plus online platform. Two novels, written by Ballad Kitaguni, were published in May 2019 and January 2020, respectively. A 24-episode anime television series adaptation produced by MAPPA, aired on MBS from October 2020 to March 2021. The anime is licensed by Crunchyroll for streaming outside of Asia, which premiered an English dub in November 2020. The anime's original soundtrack was released in April 2021. Its first part was serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from December 2018 to December 2020; its second part began serialization in Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ online magazine in July 2022.
