How Strong is Gohan Black?

With Sparking Zeros release, we can now explore what if scenarios that were pondered about throughout the dragon ball fandom. Things like if Goku didn’t team up with Piccolo & if Gohan trained during super are shown to us in full glory, but I think without a doubt the craziest scenario we managed to get our hands on is Gohan Black. Now the concept of this character upon further analysis is actually pretty disgusting, so today I wanted to see where he scales not only in the game, but what an actual Gohan Black would be like if it were in series. For this video we will be covering mainly the anime as the games cover mainly this timeline, so sorry to those who are manga only. Anyway, let’s discuss how strong this Beast would be. See what I did there I’m HILARIOUS Anyway in the game we surprisingly don’t get anything that changes the scaling that crazy. Goku Vegeta and Trunks should just be around the same level they were in the black arc, but the big difference here would be Gohan. You see Zamasu stole the body of Gohan in this timeline due to him being able to fight and contend with Hit, someone we see surviving a full onslaught from Blue Kaioken X10. Gohan not only matches him but even continues training afterwards and in this timeline actually has motivation to get strong. I’ll get more into how strong I think this Gohan would actually be because I believe the game kinda downplays it a bit, but BASELINE? With him gaining back his mystic state and having way more motivation & time to train, it wouldn’t be a reach to say he’s at least stronger compared to his Tournament of Power self. The reason I say this is because Gohan only really started locking in the day before the tournament and became that much stronger after that one training session with Piccolo. So already Zamasu should’ve attained a body way stronger than Gokus at the time, and now doesn’t have to worry about things like divine ki as Gohan has his ultimate form. Since we’re using scaling from the anime mainly, I’ll just say that for the sake of this vid rose is just a 50x increase, since in the anime it’s described to be his form of ssj rather than in the manga which is just his version of super saiyan blue. This will be important for later. Now in the what if itself we see that an Ultimate Gohan Black just scales over the 4 Saiyans, with Gohan probably being the strongest one as he fought Gohan Black, helped Rage Trunks fight Zamasu, and somehow had enough strength to sync with blue Goku for the finisher. So in hindsight, Gohan Black would be just a way stronger Goku Black which is pretty obvious, with him probably being above the super saiyan blue level fighters going into the t.o.p. But.. that’s honestly kinda lame and really NOT true if we were to take specific factors into account, so let’s break down how strong Gohan black would have actually been. Now as I’ve established, Ultimate Gohan Black at the very least is beating up those Blue Level fighters going into the top, but realistically this gohan even in base should be stronger than them. Reason for this being the fact that Goku Black is someone that can adapt at a ridiculous rate due to his divine and saiyan cells. But now instead of having saiyan blood, it's now half saiyan blood, specifically gohan who multiple times has been stated to have greater potential than Goku and Vegeta. Realistically if Gohan Black were to initially appear Goku probably needs Blue to stand up to him, which would lead into Gohan Black quickly adapting and more than likely attaining Rose or Ultimate in the process. Now if this were the case this would mean not even a Kaioken X20 goku or Blue evolution Vegeta would be able to stand up to him if he fights in BASE. With Ultimate more than likely surpassing any top tier in super like Jiren or even Broly. Gohan himself has just been emphasized to be that guy in terms of potential, so now imagine a gohan who not only wants to grow stronger, but now has the cells of supreme kai to help him reach his results faster. This man would unironically be getting higher increases than goku in the top with a fraction of the timeframe and that's without considering his transformations, that make him reach an entirely different level. Any person he fights that's in Super I do not see him losing at all. And so if Gohan Black were real he’d without a doubt be one of if not the greatest threat to the Dragon Ball Multiverse, and hopefully Heroes or some other media start giving this hypothetical character more screen time as the concept of Gohan Black is really cool.
