Shigaraki VS Mahito Isn’t Fair

Mahito VS Shigaraki is the next death battle so yall already know I had to break down the actual matchup before the misinformation was being spread. Based on what I’ve already heard going into the fight, it’s gonna be the classic death battle stupidity we all know and love so, I’m going to eliminate the threat before it grows into something bigger. Anywho, I think everyone knows when going into this fight that Shigaraki by the end of the series in all honesty has a good chance of soloing JJK. It took Deku using a sky splitting punch to take him down on top of quite literally every other top tier hero. For reference this punch of Dekus is enough to split multiple continents, which is better than anything in JJK. The best feat in JJK is a planet busting black hole that no one scales to as Kenjaku had a specific means to literally hard counter the ability. Other than this feat that no one scales to, we have Sukuna and Gojo just destroying the majority of a city when they fight, along with maybe Mountain to Island level stuff if you want to use domain expansions as a way of scaling. Which by the way is a specific buff so no it doesn’t scale to you but, LETS JUST BE NICE TO MAHITO because that’s my goat. So we’ll say he’s pretty much the strongest disaster curse with the stronger and faster domain, meaning he should scale to Jogo and Dagon who make Mountains and Islands with their domain. This is still unironically below the casual punch Allmight performs in episode 1 of the show. Shigaraki is scaling to Deku who’s many times more powerful than All Might by this point, so he’d be above any attacks Mahito could dish out physically. However, this is not Mahito’s strong suit as he’s known for bypassing your physicals, and specifically goes to attack your soul. However we’ll talk about that in a little, I just want to first break down the gap in stats and show you guys just how bad it is. Yall already know how I feel about domain scaling so the fact I’m being nice and giving it to bro should go to show you how bad of a mismatch this is. Mahitos best feat in the series is him destroying a large portion of the ground while slamming Yuji in their final fight. Based on Mahito destroying the ground and pulverizing the rocks in the ground, this should come out to around over 159 tons to 1.37 kilotons, or enough energy to destroy multiple city blocks and even small towns. Which mind you, Shigaraki off of just awakening his true power, turned an entire city into dust. Mahito would unironically break the blades on his elbow trying to scar Shiggy. Now we can get into speed which is also not the best department for Mahito. Aside from using anime calculations that maybe get him to Hypersonic at best, we know consistently Mahito is relatively around the Mach 1 range. Reason for this being is Yuji, who Mahito surpasses physically after transforming, only has a 50/50 chance of blocking the piercing blood and not just getting shot in the head. Even characters like Urame who are massively above Mahito can barely just manage to block it. Meaning at least within Geges intent, the speed of at least the majority of the verse is around the subsonic ranges. And it isn’t until we get into the culling games and shinjuku where these characters exceed those speed of sound ranges. Meaning Mahito is vaguely above the speed of sound. Mind you even Deku by the beginning of season 1 could react to point blank explosions from bakugou, is able to react to Todoroki’s ice, which mind you is faster than a piercing blood. And this is before he amplifies himself with One for all exponentially, power creeps himself multiple times over, and gains access to all of one for all's power, which is the same one needed to bring down Shigaraki. Shigaraki by season 1 is unironically moving multiple times faster than Mahito, which is the weakest version of the character. I’m not even mentioning his literal light speed moving attacks by the way, this is just base shiggy.
