Joe and I have been nothing short of ecstatic at how well our first cover of this was recieved. When I saw this come up in the top 20 video game songs voted on by you guys, I was at a complete loss on how I could top or even change what we did the first time around. I knew I had to try and get Joe on again, but I came to him emptyhanded at how to go about it. I thought, maybe we do a more studio style vibe with it and just redo it with better chops 3 years later or something. He got the idea to make it in English now that the translated lyrics were released and I was really excited to put it together. Joe put together some killer lyrics all by himself from the perspective of Nemesis, and yet again, nailed the performance. So happy with what we made here!

I was very excited to tackle this again and was curious how it'd sound after three years (and a broken thumb) later. I was actually surprised that the bridge rhythm guitar part that was insanely hard before came much more easy to me this time around, but the arpeggios in the middle almost felt more difficult than they did before. I learned quite a lot from revisiting this and hope it's still enjoyable to listen to to those who enjoyed the first cover.

Thanks so much for watching! I'm sorry this one was a week late, but we needed time to perfect this one so I hope it was worth it! I'll see you next week with the number 15!
