The first skip on this video is usually done with a fairly slow Broken Destiny jump, but it can also be done with a slightly higher double jump to Shield Jump. It's not 100% safe, but significantly faster. ...But this is already known, right?
So here's an actual new discovery: you can reach the grapple point leading to next area early and skip the short climb by doing two consecutive Shield air attacks out of bounds. You should steer the first Shield attack very slightly to the right of the large wheel, and then steer back left again during the second Shield attack. You need enough height with the first Shield attack to hit a loading trigger, so don't do a droopy double jump. Sadly, due to the slow loading times, this doesn't actually save more than 5 seconds, but it's pretty simple to do and looks nice.
