This track is played during the opening credit montage of the film when Cuban immigrants arrive to the Untied States. For almost 40 years this track has remained unreleased to the public until it was finally released on La-La Land Records and Universal Pictures Film Music Classics Collection limited edition album titled: "Scarface: Expanded Motion Picture Soundtrack". Many fans of the film have tried to recreate this track through the years and while some sound nearly identical, nothing really comes close to the official version. I do recall reading somewhere that Giorgio Moroder 's favorite track from "Scarface" is in fact the Main Titles theme and that he is also quite proud of "Tony's Theme" and "Gina and Elvira's Theme". To create the sounds of the Main Title track, Moroder used the Roland Jupiter-8 and the Yamaha CS-80 synthesizers. Overall, I am really happy that this track is FINALLY released to the public because it captures the essence of Tony Montana 's lifestyle and the sinister tone of the film. This song / track was released under La-La Land Records & Universal Pictures Film Music Classics Collection '83 ('22).

Here is the complete expanded film score to the classic Paul Brickman film that put Tom Cruise on the map, the one and only Risky Business, all of which is composed by the legendary synth wave group Tangerine Dream. This video brings together all the score material composed for the film including the rare unreleased material that isnt available for public purchase. All of which has been exclusively enhanced & remastered by my brother Andy Morales. Let me begin by saying that I absolutely LOVE this score; It truly elevates the films artistic visuals and stylistic approaches. However, it is truly a shame that only 5 tracks from this film have been released when they were included on the soundtrack album from 1984 by Virgin Records. Look no further as this video brings you a grand total of 26 (most of which are unreleased making this the definitive score album). Risky Business is a 1983 American teen coming-of-age comedy film that was written and directed by Paul Brickman (in his directorial debut) and stars Tom Cruise as Joel Goodson and Rebecca De Mornay as Lana. It is widely known as Cruises breakout film (as it features the iconic Bob Seger - Old Time Rock and Roll living room sequence), Risky Business was a critical and commercial success, grossing more than $63 million against a $6.2 million budget. Tangerine Dream is a German electronic music band founded in 1967 by Edgar Froese. The group has seen many personnel changes over the years, with Froese having been the only continuous member up until his death in January of 2015. The best-known lineup of the group was its mid-70s era of Edgar Froese, Christopher Franke, Peter Baumann and Johannes Schmoelling. They are considered pioneers of the early days of electronic music and has scored upwards of 60 films which include (but not limited to) Sorcerer, Thief, The Keep, Firestarter, Legend, Three OClock High, Near Dark, Shy People, Miracle Mile, and of course Risky Business. Overall, Risky Business redefined synth scores for the 80s; With tracks like The Dream Is Always The Same (Track 1) & Love On A Real Train (Track 18, 19, & 20) being similar to something reminiscent of Netflixs Stranger Things its no surprise that this score has helped shape and influence many future synth composers of the following decades. This complete OST expanded soundtrack score is unreleased and has no distribution label 83.

[Video Game Music/Soundtrack/Modern Classical/Score/Ambient/OST] Here is the complete Various Artists Original Soundtrack album to the 2001 Nintendo GameCube video game titled: Universal Studios Theme Parks Adventure released by Kemco and Naia Digital Works. Most of the games music was composed by Akihito Okawa and Hozo Okazaki while also including main movie theme songs from well known composers Alan Silvestri and John Williams. Say what you will about the video game but I always loved the original music from Okawa and Okazaki. Its extremely well done and it is one of the things that I always admired about this game. Universal Studios Theme Parks Adventure (also known in Japan as Universal Studios Japan Adventure) is a 2001 video game developed by Naia Digital Works and published by Kemco for the GameCube. Set in the Universal Studios Japan park at Osaka, the object of the game is to complete several mini-games loosely based on the real-life attractions Back to the Future: The Ride, Jaws, Jurassic Park River Adventure, E.T. Adventure, Backdraft, Wild, Wild, Wild West Stunt Show, and Waterworld. Hosted by Woody Woodpecker, the player is encouraged to collect trash located in the park and complete movie quizzes, in which the player must answer trivia questions about the Universal Studios films. Sadly, the game was panned by critics at the time for its tedious gameplay, poor graphics and anomalous concept. Personally, the game has become a nostalgia trip down memory lane as most of the rides featured in the game are no longer at the Universal Studios theme parks. Overall, even though this video game isnt the greatest, the music from Okawa and Okazaki is worth taking a listen to as it goes great with the other iconic movie theme songs featured in the game by Alan Silvestri and John Williams. This song was used for the diner scene in A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master when Alice Johnson (Lisa Wilcox) formally meets Dan Jordan (Danny Hassel) while also talking to her friends Sheila Kopecky (Toy Newkirk) and Debbie Stevens (Brooke Theiss). The song is heavily sought out by many Nightmare On Elm Street fans so i am glad to finally put all your searches to rest. Joe Lamont is an Australian American rock singer, songwriter and musician. Lamont has been a member of several rock bands; while in these bands, he was known as Joe Lamente. In the late 1970s, Lamont became the lead vocalist of the band Steeplechase, replacing the original lead singer Eli Holland. Steeplechase released their debut album on Big City Records in 1981. Problems which later ensued the band would eventually lead to Lamont taking up an offer to become the lead vocalist of the band Shelter, which was signed to Polydor. After Shelter, Lamont went on to release his highly acclaimed solo album Secrets You Keep in 1985 on the CBS affiliated Private I label. A number of well known notable session musicians guested on the album, including Dann Huff, Vinnie Colaiuta, Alan Pasqua, Paulinho da Costa, Richard Gibbs and Larry Williams. Secrets You Keep was released only on vinyl, but in 2010, the album was re-released onto CD by Yesterrock, a German label specializing in reissues. Lamont also wrote and performed songs for various films in the 1980s. In 1984, Lamont appeared on the original motion picture soundtrack of the film Heavenly Bodies, with his song Love Always Wins. In 1985, Lamont wrote the song Fright Night, performed by The J. Geils Band, for the film Fright Night. After these contributions he recorded this song for the diner scene in A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 but the song, however did not appear on the films official soundtrack release by Chrysalis Records. Because of this the track was unreleased since Lamont never made another album after Secrets You Keep; i was given this track by Matt McNulty and according to him, he received it from Lamont himself which from the looks of it must be the original beta recording tape file of the song. - it could also very well be the same beta tape used for the sound editors when they placed the song in the movie. Never the less, it is good news to hear that Lamont stashed away this song and kept it in safe keeping, my only gripe is why didnt he include it on the Nightmare 4 official soundtrack? ...maybe he had plans to release this song separately but they fell flat or something, lol. This song is unreleased and has no distribution label 88.

[Freestyle/New Jack Swing/House/Rock Pop/Synth Pop] Here is Canadian artist Sonya Papp s 1990 debut album titled: Destiny. Theres really not much data on her but i know she goes by Sonia Papp now. Its funny to me that someone who released three albums over a decade (1990s) has no internet presence! The only thing I can say for sure is that she is from Quebec. The hi-NRG Undercover Lover (Track 5) was a club hit in Canada in 1988. It took two more years before her debut album was released, and it featured a more prominent house remix of the track. For the album she changed the spelling of her first name from Sonia with an I to Sonya with a Y for some unknown reason. The majority of the album was straight up dance-pop, all produced by John Farley of Canadian disco group Hydro. After she released her three albums she has faded into obscurity completely....at least in the united states. Curious where she is now. The album was released under Artiste Records 90.

This video brings together every single piece of unreleased score material composed for the movie including rare source cues and the film versions for: We Belong Together (Film Version) (Track 24), La Bamba (Film Version) (Track 25) by Los Lobos and Sleepwalk (Opening Sequence) (Track 1), Sleepwalk (Closing Sequence) (Track 16) by Santo & Johnny. All of which has been exclusively enhanced & remastered by Captain LJ. La Bamba is a 1987 American biographical drama film written and directed by Luis Valdez. The film follows the life and short-lived musical career of Mexican-American Chicano rock and roll star Ritchie Valens and stars Lou Diamond Phillips as Valens, Esai Morales, Rosanna DeSoto, Elizabeth Peña, Danielle von Zerneck and Joe Pantoliano. The film also covers the effect that Valens career had on the lives of his half brother Bob Morales, his girlfriend Donna Ludwig, and the rest of his family. The movie is titled after a Mexican folk song of the same name, which Valens transformed into a rock and roll rendition in 1958. All of Ritchie Valens songs in the movie were performed by Los Lobos, whom the Valenzuela family personally requested to be involved. The band also has a cameo in the film performing in the brothel ballroom in Tijuana. In its opening weekend, the film grossed a total of $5.7 million from 1,251 theaters, finishing fifth and went on to gross $52.7 million in the United States over 12 weeks in 1987. Miles Goodman was an American composer for television and film. He is best remembered for his frequent collaborations with film director Frank Oz, for whom Goodman scored such films as: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels(1988), What About Bob? (1991), Housesitter (1992), Teen Wolf (1985), and Little Shop of Horrors (1986). Carlos Humberto Santana Barragán is an American guitarist who rose to fame in the late 1960s and early 1970s with his band Santana, which pioneered a fusion of rock and roll and Latin American jazz. He has won 10 Grammy Awards, three Latin Grammy Awards, and was inducted along with his namesake band into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. Overall, Miles Goodman & Carlos Santana s film score to La Bamba delivers powerful guitar solos & orchestration motifs that truly elevate the films emotional sequences [ especially with Pregnant (Track 5) and Broadcast (Track 15) ]. [Synth Pop/Freestyle/Latin Freestyle/Dance/R&B/Pop] Here is ElectroPop & Disco artist Alisha Ann Itkin with her third and final album titled: Bounce Back. I recently noticed the album isnt up so i decided to put it up for everyone to listen to. Its a pretty good album. Unfortunately it flew under the radar in terms of sales and popularity. Still, dance music is a singles-oriented medium and each of Alishas albums contained a big dance chart hit, all of which now seem like genre classics. In 1985 when she was 14, she tore up the dance chart with All Night Passion and Baby Talk, which she is mostly known for. In 1988 we saw her chart again with: Let Your Heart Make Up Your Mind. With this album, Alisha took Bounce Back (Track 6) to #10 on the dance chart. Its a cover of a 1987 song by the Los Angeles duo Fire on Blonde. On behalf of that duo, Michael Jay produced this album and his decision to have Alisha rerecord the song was a risky decision in my opinion because i like Fire On Blondes renditions better, especially when it comes to the track: Wrong Number (Track 1). Unlike a lot of modern day singers, Alisha doesnt overdo the dramatics and pile on loads of ad libbing. Because of that, her songs come off as less dated, even when they have instruments that tie them to the time period in which she recorded them (Ex: the Yahama DX7 in Track 9s Dont Let Our Love Go). This album was released under MCA Records 90.

Let me begin by saying that this is my PERSONAL CUSTOM MADE EXPANDED SOUNDTRACK for the film. It is NOT the official Ghost (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), the Ghost Silver Screen Edition or the 30th Anniversary release by Milan Records and Varèse Sarabande. This custom made album/video however brings together every single piece of score material that can be heard throughout the film including unreleased material that is not found on the official soundtrack releases. Ghost is a 1990 American romantic fantasy thriller film directed by Jerry Zucker starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, Whoopi Goldberg, Tony Goldwyn, Vincent Schiavelli and Rick Aviles. The plot centers on Sam Wheat (Patrick Swayze), a murdered banker, whose ghost sets out to save his girlfriend, Molly Jensen (Demi Moore), from the person who killed him through the help of psychic Oda Mae Brown (Whoopi Goldberg). Ghost was theatrically released on July 13, 1990, to commercial success, grossing $505 million against a budget of $22-23 million and emerging as the highest-grossing film of 1990. The film received positive reviews from critics, with particular praise going towards the score and performances from the cast. Harrison Ford, Michael J. Fox, Paul Hogan, Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, Kevin Kline, Alec Baldwin and Tom Cruise were all considered for the role of Sam Wheat. Bruce Willis turned down the role of Sam Wheat because he did not understand the script and later called himself a knucklehead for turning it down, lol. Michelle Pfeiffer, Molly Ringwald, Meg Ryan, Julia Roberts and Nicole Kidman were also considered for the role of Molly Jensen. As for the soundtrack, it was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Score and is considered to be one of the many highlights to Maurice Jarres career. The soundtrack is wildly known for featuring the Alex North mega hit: Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers and its instrumental version in Sams Farewell (Unchained Melody - Orchestral Version) (Track 24). Overall, Maurice Jarres film score to Ghost is a collage of spooky synth atmospherics and stingers that create a mood of eerie uncertainty while its love themes convey the heart of the story that in the end reminds us why Jarre was one of Hollywoods premiere elite composers. [Synth Pop/Electronic/Pop/Rock/Pop Rock/Dance/AOR] Here is Jill Michaels with her one and only self titled debut album: Jill Michaels. Let me begin by saying that this is one of my all time favorite albums from the 1980s. If you are a fan of late 80s mall sensation Tiffany Darwish (I Think Were Alone Now) and the 1989 Patrick Swayze hit film Road House then i highly recommend that you listen to this album as a lot of Jill s songs are very reminiscent of her work and that movie. It really upsets me that with a voice like Michaels she went fairly unnoticed by the public. Seriously when you listen to this album from start to finish you will tell yourself: why the hell didnt this chick get famous? haha. Well the album did receive some fame as anyone whom has seen the 1984 hit film: Revenge Of The Nerds will be very familiar with Track 5: Right Time For Love as it was prominently played during the infamous party scene (it was also included on the Revenge Of The Nerds official soundtrack). Another thing that this album is notable for is Track 10 s Where Did The Feeling Go? as Jill was the first woman to sing that song in music history. The song eventually found renewed interest when (the Queen of Tejano music) Selena Quintanilla recorded it a couple years later in 1989; However, it was not released until 1997 when it was featured in the Jennifer Lopez film Selena and its soundtrack album, following Selena s death in 1995. Born To Win (Track 8) was also used as the theme song for the notable biographical film Heart Like A Wheel which is based on the life of drag racing driver Shirley Muldowney. After this album, Jill went on to do a song for the 1986 Charlie Sheen film The Wraith and thats pretty much about it, lol. There also isnt a whole lot of data online about Jill, but i can assure you that she is not The Biggest Loser s fitness coach Jillian Michaels, hahaha. Surprisingly, Jill actually has her own YouTube channel but she unfortunately hasnt uploaded a whole lot of content. Overall, Jill deserved way more than what she was given as this album is a sheer 80s KNOCKOUT from start to finish. This album was released under Scotti Bros. Records 85.
(Btw, I love every track on this album but my personal favorites would have to be: How Do You Fall Out Of Love?, Dont Give Up, City Of Dreams, and Born To Win).

[AOR/Synth Rock/Melodic Rock/Pop Rock/Rock/New Wave] Here is guitarist, drummer, singer, songwriter, and musical director Kevin Wells with his 1985 solo debut album titled: Little Acts Of Treason. An amazing AOR Synth Rock album that has unfortunately faded away into obscurity. A real shame that this album didnt take off because Kevin truly delivers every song with such energy and power. I personally think that this album deserved so much better than what it got because I absolutely love each track on it, especially Im Still Waiting (Track 1), Night Life (Track 5), and Love Is On The Line (Track 8). Versatile at everything from jazz to hard rock, Kevin Wells has played on the road and in the studio since the age of 15 with dozens of major acts. He has worked with John McFee from the Doobie Brothers , Carlene Carter, Pablo Cruise, Tower Of Power, Jack Mack And The Heart Attack Band, The Pointer Sisters, Steve Goodman, Glenn Medeiros, Robbie Dupree & was also Laura Branigan s live band musical director. Hes probably better known as Huey Lewis & The News drummer & vocalist, recording on Sports and co-writing with Andre Pessis with their hit Walking On A Thin Line. In 1985 Kevin released this one and only album which was produced by the legendary team of Peter Bunetta & Rick Chudacoff (Robbie, Dupree, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson). This album features some of the best studio musicians from the time including the legendary Dan Huff on guitar, Vinnie Colaiuta, Bill Cuomo, John McFee, Jim Photoglo, Leslie Smith, Hamish Stuart, Larry Hoppen and Break My Stride artist Matthew Wilder as background vocalists. You can definitely hear Matthew Wilders voice in the background of Im Still Waiting (Track 1) during the chorus sections, lol. This album was released on vinyl and cassette in America by Beverly Glen Music and in Japan by Victor Records. In 2017 in was reissued on vinyl and CD by Sunset Dreams Records (btw this is the CD version of the album). Overall, Kevin Wells Little Acts Of Treason is a fantastic collage of AOR/Melodic rock motifs that sound like they would fit perfectly into an 80s movie montage scene. This album was released under Beverly Glen Music and Victor Records 85.

Here is the complete official expanded film score to Brian De Palmas iconic mobster epic Scarface composed entirely by the legendary Giorgio Moroder. This video brings together all the score material composed for the film including the rare source cues and unreleased material that were used as ambient pieces in the movie. Also included is the official master tape tracks for Success by Joe Esposito, Right Combination by Beth Andersen and Scarface (Push It To The Limit) & Extended by Paul Engemann (which were originally found in 2006s Scarface: The World Is Yours video game). Forty years after the release of De Palmas enduring early 80s crime drama Scarface, starring Al Pacino, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Robert Loggia, La-La Land Records has presented fans with the entirety of the films operatic synth pop score, finally released as a limited edition package in conjunction with the Universal Pictures Film Music Classics Collection (only 5000 copies exist). Film scores heighten emotions and create the mood for scenes, driving action and drawing tears. For De Palmas 83 remake - that arguably surpassed the original - of Scarface, he sought out the Father of Disco, Italian composer, songwriter and record producer, Giorgio Moroder. At the time he was credited as the pioneer for euro disco, and had also composed the score for Flashdance, released that same year (1983). Moroder used his knowledge of synthesizers and unique vision, by incorporating elements of synth rock and disco, to elevate the film and make Scarface the legacy that it is today. In collaboration with Arthur Barrow, Sylvester Levay and Kristian Schultze, Moroder used clashing beats and haunting tones to create an aura of lavish bravado worthy of Tony Montana. For the score, the main synthesizers used by Moroder for the Scarface soundtrack were the Roland Jupiter-8 and the Yamaha CS-80. Personally this is my all time favorite synth film score that I am glad to finally see officially released to the public. Overall, this score is considered to be Giorgio Moroder s synthesized magnum opus, and is a sinister and bold musicscape that captures the extravagance of the film. This complete OST soundtrack score was released under La-La Land Records & Universal Pictures Film Music Classics Collection 83 (22).
