[Synth Pop/Freestyle/Latin Freestyle/Dance/R&B/Pop] Here is ElectroPop & Disco artist Alisha Ann Itkin with her third and final album titled: "Bounce Back". I recently noticed the album isn't up so i decided to put it up for everyone to listen to. It's a pretty good album. Unfortunately it flew under the radar in terms of sales and popularity. Still, dance music is a singles-oriented medium and each of Alisha's albums contained a big dance chart hit, all of which now seem like genre classics. In 1985 when she was 14, she tore up the dance chart with "All Night Passion" and "Baby Talk," which she is mostly known for. In 1988 we saw her chart again with: "Let Your Heart Make Up Your Mind." With this album, Alisha took "Bounce Back (Track 6) to #10 on the dance chart. It's a cover of a 1987 song by the Los Angeles duo Fire on Blonde. On behalf of that duo, Michael Jay produced this album and his decision to have Alisha rerecord the song was a risky decision in my opinion because i like Fire On Blonde's renditions better, especially when it comes to the track: "Wrong Number" (Track 1). Unlike a lot of modern day singers, Alisha doesn't overdo the dramatics and pile on loads of ad libbing. Because of that, her songs come off as less dated, even when they have instruments that tie them to the time period in which she recorded them (Ex: the Yahama DX7 in Track 9's "Don't Let Our Love Go"). This album was released under MCA Records '90.

[Synth/Ambient/Electronic/Stage & Screen/Orchestration/Score/OST] Here is the complete expanded film version score to one of Patrick Swayze s best films: 1990s Ghost composed by the legendary Maurice Jarre. Let me begin by saying that this is my PERSONAL CUSTOM MADE EXPANDED SOUNDTRACK for the film. It is NOT the official Ghost (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), the Ghost Silver Screen Edition or the 30th Anniversary release by Milan Records and Varèse Sarabande. This custom made album/video however brings together every single piece of score material that can be heard throughout the film including unreleased material that is not found on the official soundtrack releases. Ghost is a 1990 American romantic fantasy thriller film directed by Jerry Zucker starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, Whoopi Goldberg, Tony Goldwyn, Vincent Schiavelli and Rick Aviles. The plot centers on Sam Wheat (Patrick Swayze), a murdered banker, whose ghost sets out to save his girlfriend, Molly Jensen (Demi Moore), from the person who killed him through the help of psychic Oda Mae Brown (Whoopi Goldberg). Ghost was theatrically released on July 13, 1990, to commercial success, grossing $505 million against a budget of $22-23 million and emerging as the highest-grossing film of 1990. The film received positive reviews from critics, with particular praise going towards the score and performances from the cast. Harrison Ford, Michael J. Fox, Paul Hogan, Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, Kevin Kline, Alec Baldwin and Tom Cruise were all considered for the role of Sam Wheat. Bruce Willis turned down the role of Sam Wheat because he did not understand the script and later called himself a knucklehead for turning it down, lol. Michelle Pfeiffer, Molly Ringwald, Meg Ryan, Julia Roberts and Nicole Kidman were also considered for the role of Molly Jensen. As for the soundtrack, it was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Score and is considered to be one of the many highlights to Maurice Jarres career. The soundtrack is wildly known for featuring the Alex North mega hit: Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers and its instrumental version in Sams Farewell (Unchained Melody - Orchestral Version) (Track 24). Overall, Maurice Jarres film score to Ghost is a collage of spooky synth atmospherics and stingers that create a mood of eerie uncertainty while its love themes convey the heart of the story that in the end reminds us why Jarre was one of Hollywoods premiere elite composers. This complete expanded OST soundtrack score is unreleased and has no distribution label 90.

[Synth Pop/Electronic/Pop/Rock/Pop Rock/Dance/AOR] Here is Jill Michaels with her one and only self titled debut album: Jill Michaels. Let me begin by saying that this is one of my all time favorite albums from the 1980s. If you are a fan of late 80s mall sensation Tiffany Darwish (I Think Were Alone Now) and the 1989 Patrick Swayze hit film Road House then i highly recommend that you listen to this album as a lot of Jill s songs are very reminiscent of her work and that movie. It really upsets me that with a voice like Michaels she went fairly unnoticed by the public. Seriously when you listen to this album from start to finish you will tell yourself: why the hell didnt this chick get famous? haha. Well the album did receive some fame as anyone whom has seen the 1984 hit film: Revenge Of The Nerds will be very familiar with Track 5: Right Time For Love as it was prominently played during the infamous party scene (it was also included on the Revenge Of The Nerds official soundtrack). Another thing that this album is notable for is Track 10 s Where Did The Feeling Go? as Jill was the first woman to sing that song in music history. The song eventually found renewed interest when (the Queen of Tejano music) Selena Quintanilla recorded it a couple years later in 1989; However, it was not released until 1997 when it was featured in the Jennifer Lopez film Selena and its soundtrack album, following Selena s death in 1995. Born To Win (Track 8) was also used as the theme song for the notable biographical film Heart Like A Wheel which is based on the life of drag racing driver Shirley Muldowney. After this album, Jill went on to do a song for the 1986 Charlie Sheen film The Wraith and thats pretty much about it, lol. There also isnt a whole lot of data online about Jill, but i can assure you that she is not The Biggest Loser s fitness coach Jillian Michaels, hahaha. Surprisingly, Jill actually has her own YouTube channel but she unfortunately hasnt uploaded a whole lot of content. Overall, Jill deserved way more than what she was given as this album is a sheer 80s KNOCKOUT from start to finish. This album was released under Scotti Bros. Records 85.
(Btw, I love every track on this album but my personal favorites would have to be: How Do You Fall Out Of Love?, Dont Give Up, City Of Dreams, and Born To Win).

[AOR/Synth Rock/Melodic Rock/Pop Rock/Rock/New Wave] Here is guitarist, drummer, singer, songwriter, and musical director Kevin Wells with his 1985 solo debut album titled: Little Acts Of Treason. An amazing AOR Synth Rock album that has unfortunately faded away into obscurity. A real shame that this album didnt take off because Kevin truly delivers every song with such energy and power. I personally think that this album deserved so much better than what it got because I absolutely love each track on it, especially Im Still Waiting (Track 1), Night Life (Track 5), and Love Is On The Line (Track 8). Versatile at everything from jazz to hard rock, Kevin Wells has played on the road and in the studio since the age of 15 with dozens of major acts. He has worked with John McFee from the Doobie Brothers , Carlene Carter, Pablo Cruise, Tower Of Power, Jack Mack And The Heart Attack Band, The Pointer Sisters, Steve Goodman, Glenn Medeiros, Robbie Dupree & was also Laura Branigan s live band musical director. Hes probably better known as Huey Lewis & The News drummer & vocalist, recording on Sports and co-writing with Andre Pessis with their hit Walking On A Thin Line. In 1985 Kevin released this one and only album which was produced by the legendary team of Peter Bunetta & Rick Chudacoff (Robbie, Dupree, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson). This album features some of the best studio musicians from the time including the legendary Dan Huff on guitar, Vinnie Colaiuta, Bill Cuomo, John McFee, Jim Photoglo, Leslie Smith, Hamish Stuart, Larry Hoppen and Break My Stride artist Matthew Wilder as background vocalists. You can definitely hear Matthew Wilders voice in the background of Im Still Waiting (Track 1) during the chorus sections, lol. This album was released on vinyl and cassette in America by Beverly Glen Music and in Japan by Victor Records. In 2017 in was reissued on vinyl and CD by Sunset Dreams Records (btw this is the CD version of the album). Overall, Kevin Wells Little Acts Of Treason is a fantastic collage of AOR/Melodic rock motifs that sound like they would fit perfectly into an 80s movie montage scene. This album was released under Beverly Glen Music and Victor Records 85.

[Synth/Ambient/Electronic/Orchestration/Score/OST] First you get the money, then you get the power, then you get the soundtrack. Here is the complete official expanded film score to Brian De Palmas iconic mobster epic Scarface composed entirely by the legendary Giorgio Moroder. This video brings together all the score material composed for the film including the rare source cues and unreleased material that were used as ambient pieces in the movie. Also included is the official master tape tracks for Success by Joe Esposito, Right Combination by Beth Andersen and Scarface (Push It To The Limit) & Extended by Paul Engemann (which were originally found in 2006s Scarface: The World Is Yours video game). Forty years after the release of De Palmas enduring early 80s crime drama Scarface, starring Al Pacino, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Robert Loggia, La-La Land Records has presented fans with the entirety of the films operatic synth pop score, finally released as a limited edition package in conjunction with the Universal Pictures Film Music Classics Collection (only 5000 copies exist). Film scores heighten emotions and create the mood for scenes, driving action and drawing tears. For De Palmas 83 remake - that arguably surpassed the original - of Scarface, he sought out the Father of Disco, Italian composer, songwriter and record producer, Giorgio Moroder. At the time he was credited as the pioneer for euro disco, and had also composed the score for Flashdance, released that same year (1983). Moroder used his knowledge of synthesizers and unique vision, by incorporating elements of synth rock and disco, to elevate the film and make Scarface the legacy that it is today. In collaboration with Arthur Barrow, Sylvester Levay and Kristian Schultze, Moroder used clashing beats and haunting tones to create an aura of lavish bravado worthy of Tony Montana. For the score, the main synthesizers used by Moroder for the Scarface soundtrack were the Roland Jupiter-8 and the Yamaha CS-80. Personally this is my all time favorite synth film score that I am glad to finally see officially released to the public. Overall, this score is considered to be Giorgio Moroder s synthesized magnum opus, and is a sinister and bold musicscape that captures the extravagance of the film. This complete OST soundtrack score was released under La-La Land Records & Universal Pictures Film Music Classics Collection 83 (22).

REMASTERED!! ... AND EXTENDED!!! It is played by the Jabbas Palace Ortolan Max Rebo and his band (Sy Snootles / Droopy McCool) on Jabba The Hutt s sail barge (The Khetanna) as he transports Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Lando Calrissian to the Great Pit of Carkoon aka the Sarlacc Pit. This song is heavily sought after by a large margin of the Star Wars fan base as it was sadly never included on any soundtrack or album. The only max rebo tracks that are released to the public are Jedi Rocks, Jabbas Baroque Recital, and Lapti Nek (but the film version of Lapti Nek is unreleased). A lot of people assume that Galactic Dance Blast is done by legendary composer John Williams but I read somewhere that the song was actually done by Joseph Williams (John Williams s son). Also, the master tape of this song is unfortunately lost due to the makers of Jedi loaning this music to a company who used it in a making of documentary titled: From Star Wars to Jedi: The Making of a Saga and they ended up misplacing the original recording which means that this video will probably always be the CLOSEST thing you will get to the authentic high quality master tape of the song (its pretty much 98% accurate). I also doubt Lucasfilm , Disney, and or John Williams has them either because usually when you make a master tape its one copy and thats it. Return of the Jedi (also known as Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi) is a 1983 American epic space opera film directed by Richard Marquand. It is the third installment in the original Star Wars trilogy and the first film to use THX technology. The film is set one year after The Empire Strikes Back and was produced by Howard Kazanjian for Lucasfilm Ltd. The film stars Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams, Anthony Daniels, David Prowse, Kenny Baker, Peter Mayhew and Frank Oz. [Synth/Electronic/New Wave/Synth Pop/Score/OST] Here is the heavily sought after humming version to Berlins mega hit: Take My Breath Away that was prominently featured in the love scene to 1986s Top Gun. In 2024, La-La Land Records finally released Harold Faltermeyers complete Top Gun score to the public, however one of the biggest omissions from the album was the humming film version to Take My Breath Away. The good news is that Faltermeyers instrumental cue to the humming version was included in the release (titled Love Scene) which made it very possible to reconstruct the track with all the missing hums and powerful chorus sections. The person responsible for this reconstruction is a YouTuber named (TurdmanJones59) and he carefully extracted all of Terri Nunns official hums from the love scene and rebuilt the entire track to match EXACTLY to what is heard within the movie. However, he did miss ONE noticeable hum at min (3:25) that I successfully managed to source and include/add (which makes this video the CLOSEST THING that you will probably ever get to the official one heard within the film). Top Gun is a 1986 American action drama film directed by Tony Scott and stars Tom Cruise as Lieutenant Pete Maverick Mitchell, a young naval aviator and Anthony Edwards as his wingman Nick Goose Bradshaw. Kelly McGillis, Val Kilmer and Tom Skerritt also appear in supporting roles. Despite its initial mixed critical reaction, the film was a huge commercial hit, grossing $357 million globally against a production budget of $15 million and was the highest-grossing domestic film of 1986. A sequel, Top Gun: Maverick (in which Cruise and Kilmer reprised their roles) was released 36 years later on May 27th 2022, and surpassed the original film both critically and commercially. Harold Faltermeyer is best known for composing the Axel F theme for the feature film: Beverly Hills Cop and is considered one of the greatest synth score composers of the 1980s. Berlin is an American new wave/synth-pop band from Los Angeles that consisted of singer Terri Nunn, bass guitarist and vocalist John Crawford, keyboardist David Diamond, guitarist Ric Olsen, keyboardist Matt Reid, and drummer Rob Brill. The band gained commercial success in the 1980s with singles including: The Metro, No More Words and the chart-topping Take My Breath Away co-written and produced by Giorgio Moroder, which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song and a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song. Overall, it is great to finally share with you guys the iconic Take My Breath Away humming version that fans of the movie have been searching and waiting nearly 40 years to listen to in its entirety. [EuroPop/Synth Pop/Electronic/Pop/Disco/Dance/AOR] Here is Bonnie Bianco with her second major album titled: Just Me. At first i wasnt very fond of this album, but after i listened to it in its entirety i have truly grown to loving it. This album did fairly OK in Europe but went completely unnoticed here in the United States and that is a shame because if you really give it a chance you will see that Just Me is perhaps Biancos best album. Bonnie Bianco was born Lory Lynn Bianco on August 19th, 1963 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Bianco started her career at the tender age of 10 performing in musicals, fairs, convalescent homes, hospitals, conventions, and beauty pageants. She was managed by Sam Gino and her mother Helen Bianco. Bianco sang solo and duet with her sister Holly and the two of them recorded their first single, Give Me A Minute in 1975. Later at 16, Bianco received her first professional break with Hal White and Mark Gibbons, who released a single on RCA records titled: Teenager In Love. At eighteen Bianco was discovered in a talent search by two producers from Italy, Guido and Maurizio De Angelis. The De Angeles brothers signed her and became her record label Kangaroo Records/Polygram. They changed her name to Bonnie Bianco (a name that she wasnt so fond of using). She is best known as the leading role of Cindy in the Italian film Cinderella 80 (also known as Cinderella 87 or Cindy), a modernized adaptation of the fairy tale Cinderella. Bianco starred along side with french actor Pierre Cosso, known from his movie La Boum 2 with Sophie Marceau. Bianco also recorded the soundtrack for this TV series and the film gave her further success as an actress in Italy. From here you will see why she really wasnt very known in the United States and that is something that Bianco tried to change after this album was released. After this albums release, Bianco and her producer Christian De Walden had different views for her career so they finally mutually agreed to break away from each other. Bianco ended her contract with Metronome in 1987 after a battle of seven months and signed a new deal with the German record company WEA (Warner-Elektra-Atlantic, belonging to Warner Bros records) in 1988. They produced a new album, True Love, Lory, as they mutually agreed to gradually fade away from the name Bonnie. The record company stated that she had become famous by the name Bonnie Bianco and people would not know who Lory Bianco was. The album failed to continue the Top 10 success of the two previous albums (like this one) and failed to reach the German Top 40. Through the years, she released several more albums and singles and now resides in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. I consider this album a failure because it was only marketed heavily overseas, even though it was well received in Italy and had some major hits like The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter (Track 5) and Miss You So (Track 1), i just feel that if they promoted this album more globally than i think Biancos career would have skyrocketed higher than expected ...but all in all, the album is a must listen to as it is clearly her best work. This album was released under Metronome Records 87.
