[Synth Pop/Electronic/Pop/Rock/Pop Rock/Dance/AOR] Here is Jill Michaels with her one and only self titled debut album: "Jill Michaels". Let me begin by saying that this is one of my all time favorite albums from the 1980's. If you are a fan of late 80's mall sensation Tiffany Darwish ("I Think We're Alone Now") and the 1989 Patrick Swayze hit film "Road House" then i highly recommend that you listen to this album as a lot of Jill 's songs are very reminiscent of her work and that movie. It really upsets me that with a voice like Michaels she went fairly unnoticed by the public. Seriously when you listen to this album from start to finish you will tell yourself: "why the hell didn't this chick get famous?" haha. Well the album did receive "some" fame as anyone whom has seen the 1984 hit film: "Revenge Of The Nerds" will be very familiar with Track 5: "Right Time For Love" as it was prominently played during the infamous party scene (it was also included on the Revenge Of The Nerds official soundtrack). Another thing that this album is notable for is Track 10 's "Where Did The Feeling Go?" as Jill was the first woman to sing that song in music history. The song eventually found renewed interest when (the Queen of Tejano music) Selena Quintanilla recorded it a couple years later in 1989; However, it was not released until 1997 when it was featured in the Jennifer Lopez film "Selena" and its soundtrack album, following Selena 's death in 1995. "Born To Win" (Track 8) was also used as the theme song for the notable biographical film "Heart Like A Wheel" which is based on the life of drag racing driver Shirley Muldowney. After this album, Jill went on to do a song for the 1986 Charlie Sheen film "The Wraith" and that's pretty much about it, lol. There also isn't a whole lot of data online about Jill, but i can assure you that she is not The Biggest Loser 's fitness coach Jillian Michaels, hahaha. Surprisingly, Jill actually has her own YouTube channel but she unfortunately hasn't uploaded a whole lot of content. Overall, Jill deserved way more than what she was given as this album is a sheer 80's KNOCKOUT from start to finish. This album was released under Scotti Bros. Records '85.

(Btw, I love every track on this album but my personal favorites would have to be: "How Do You Fall Out Of Love?", "Don't Give Up", "City Of Dreams", and "Born To Win").
