In this week’s video, I’m creating a stunning mixed media collage painting on canvas, starting with an image transfer layered over craft paper and my own handmade textured papers, coloured to build depth and richness. These layers form a unique foundation for the artwork.
Once the collage surface is complete, I add a fluid glaze using pouring medium mixed with inks. This step transforms the surface, giving it a shiny, luxurious finish that enhances the colours and textures, almost like glass over the collage. It’s an elegant way to bring dimension and vibrancy to your mixed media work. Get ready to revolutionise your art!
