I almost threw this painting in the trash… but then everything changed. What started as a simple idea—adding paint over collage—quickly went wrong. The paint wasn’t transparent, the layers felt messy, and I was stuck.
But instead of giving up, I pushed through. I kept layering, adjusting, and finally added a lotus flower stencil—a symbol of blooming through the mud.
Sometimes the best art comes from the mess.
