In this video, I’m creating a world map-inspired collage using some of my favourite mixed media techniques. You’ll see how I sketch a map with pen & wash, build depth with stencil patterns on craft paper, and add rich layers of texture through gel plate printing. The result is a vibrant, layered collage that feels alive with movement and story.
This project is taken straight from my brand-new Skillshare class, Textures of Travel in Collage – Class 10 of 100 Days of Collage. The full class includes seven travel-inspired lessons (Days 64–70), where we explore collaging with stamps, maps, souvenirs, postcards, and more.
