Boxer armoured fighting vehicle

The Boxer is a family of armoured fighting vehicles designed by an international consortium to accomplish a number of operations through the use of installable mission modules.

The Boxer is a highly mobile, armoured wheeled vehicle whose modular design allows for a wide range of mission-specific variants. The vehicle family consists of a standardized drive module and interchangeable, user-specific mission modules. In addition to the original variants such as the group transporter, the medical vehicle, the engineer group vehicle, and the command vehicle, many new variants have already been developed, e.g., for air defense. Currently, around 2,000 vehicles are under contract worldwide – and the trend is rising.

Unique modularity
Mission modules can be exchanged quickly. There are over 30 capabilities available, ranging from operational and command support to wheeled armoured personnel carriers.
In service worldwide
Over 2,000 vehicles successfully service in seven countries.
Quality from Germany for Germany
On average, up to 80% of the added value is generated in Germany.
Outstanding protection concept
State-of-the-art armour and active protection technologies ensure maximum crew safety.
Superior mobility
Outstanding off-road capabilities in all weather conditions thanks to proven 8x8 all-wheel drive.

German Armed Forces procured a new heavy weapon carrier (sWaTrg Inf) with a manned Lance2 turret, a powerful 30 mm machine gun and Mells anti-tank guided missiles for the German infantry.
