Nicole VanderHeyden a 31 year old mother of 3, was murdered in May 2016. Authorities soon arrested her boyfriend, Douglas Detrie, but released him for lack of evidence. They then arrested Green Bay resident George Steven Burch, who they said had given VanderHeyden a ride home from a Green Bay bar.
The Brown county sheriff's office obtained Burch's cell phone data and placed him at the time and place of Nicole's murder.
Burch claims Douglas Detrie is responsible saying Detrie shot Nicole after he found the pair two of them having sex.
Burch is charged with 1st Degree Murder.
