Yaesu hit it out of the park with this radio. At one time this was the best-selling radio in the whole world. This was the IC7300 of the early 1970's.
It was a shack in a box having a self-contained power supply both AC and DC and a Hybrid radio with only three tubes. Optional accessories included a Remote VFO, Noise Blanker and Speech Processor. The radio was destined for home, portable and mobile operation. It had a built-in speaker, RIT and JYY on the Band s Switch.
You can tell it was good radio as many were used on the CB band with a healthy 100 watts + output.
I got this for a song as it had a burnt RF choke in the screen supply lead. A simple snip and replace and it was on the air.
