Life, death, creation, destruction, eros, Thanatos, Freud, Jung, Man Alone, Manfred Mann...the world is rife with opposing forces. In Beyond the Pleasure Principle, Freud famously wrestles with the fact that humans do things that don't seem to produce pleasure...too much intentional suffering or revisiting old wounds. What could cause this? Well, perhaps the same thing that causes uranium to decay. Are humans exempt from entropy?

August Challenge! By September 2nd: Make a 15 minute "podcast" about soloRPG. Could be a game review, playthrough, show your own game, just wonder out loud - WHATEVER. The only requirements are that: a.) it HAS to be public. b.) it HAS to have sound (it can be video too, or it can be on Youtube and just a black screen, it can be uploaded to a podcast service, it CANNOT BE a file, or a google drive link, etc. It has to be "POSTED" somewhere to count and finally d.) you have to be okay with me sharing it with others.
Email me at amanalone@proton.me when you are done, winners will be notified through email. All can participate, only those in North America are eligible for physical prizes. First prize = 3 picks from my personal game collection (you go first), second prize = 2 picks, 3rd = 1 pick (maybe I'll do a fourth that just gets a random weird game).

I pushed it to the limit in Episode 2 and was able to finish off the ENTIRE Book I of the Pendragon Starter Set. It was worth it: we learned decision/trait rolls, got lots of character development, made some tough decisions, fought TWO fights in an Ultimate Squire Royal Rumble AND...went to the barber.
First 25 mins is some prep and commentary on how the campaign will go. Im thrilled but I have a long way to go! Get to the point people - skip ahead to start of play at 26:30
