A compilation of Amtrak and BNSF freight trains along the BNSF Bakersfield and Stockton Subdivisions in Central California. Known mainly for the rich agriculture development, the Central Valley is home to some interesting trains as well as plentiful train action. No shortage of F59's up here unlike the now desolate Surfline!
I shot at various locations from Wasco near Bakersfield, all the way North to Riverbank near Stockton. Focused in the second half of the video at the Modesto Amtrak Station, home to Santa Fe 2921. Nice station with a single high speed mainline!
