Just bought a Freelander 2.5 v6 auto for £515 as a fix , repair and restoration project. Great cars to keep on the road that last well if fixed, repaired and maintained properly. Often this is not the case and hence they can be cheap to buy, but once restored they are great cars of just the right size. Anyhow this is just a quick intro on videos to come on the challenge of getting it started (it was a non runner!) and doing fixes like electric mirrors, window motor/cable and headliner.
The first job of getting it started involves changing the 3 cam belts. And it looks like the cambelt condition was the cause of overheating then non starting.
