FreeCAD is an excellent open-source CAD/CAM program available for all major operating systems. As open-source software, it is possible to run the "official released version" or a pre-release version that may have additional leading-edge features. In this video I explain how to install the pre-release versions of FreeCAD and how to configure them for your first use.

This video is a follow up to my 3 part series on getting started with FreeCAD. A number of viewers of the full series had trouble setting up their installations to look like the version in the video.
