I had a few designs prior to the one in the video but they were not as easy to build so I looked for a better solution and found the final trick in this video, as mentioned:

Of course the Redstone part was not required to build the junction but because the solution is veyr interesting and is the reason for making everything easy to build I wanted to cover it in more detail. Of course you can fast forward to skip that part if you're already a Redstone expert or simply don't care :)
