TAS for this fight has been 22.58 for a couple of years, that all changes today. Me and Andy went strat hunting on TD Disco Kid because we both believed that there could be something faster for this guy... We almost gave up because we were running out of options but then I thought "let's try skipping his first taunt". I tested this and I was able to come up with this strat that requires 15 frame non buffered inputs + motion controls. Not a fun combination but hey at least sub 22 might be possible.

This one took a little bit, but for all the wrong reasons. For awhile now I was playing on the SNES9X version of this game but then I had a 3-hour session where I didnt get a single frame perfect Phase 1, I would always get 2 frames off. Even with savestates.
So then I checked and thought, what if I switched the BSNES? And it worked and it only took 30 minutes for me to tie the TAS once that issue was resolved.
Oh and this fight still sucks and the experience wasnt that pleasant, although I got this quicker compared to the NTSC (which was tedious and I never want to do it again) it was still a challenging IL.
But at last, its finally done. Next up is Hoy/Bull probably.")

This was a massive cooldown after the horrible Stage 4 rng I had to deal with. A really simple IL, Phase 1 has a duck, and Phase 2, and Phase 3 is mindless buffering.")

This one took long but for all the wrong reasons. Just recently there was a new buffer that was discovered in P3 that can counter both of the bull charges, making it no longer RNG. However... It involves rapids, to which I was not good at.
So that means I got 10 frame-perfect P2s with the 10th one landing the 8.19. When I failed the 7th time with the rapid buffer, I decided to switch to Stoccs old buffer that would only counter the short delay of the bull charge but I didnt care. It was easier for me.
Having said all of that though, this strat was actually really fun. It was actually one of the more recent PAL strats to get an improvement and I think thats why it stands out to me more.")

So this is cool, TD Von Kaiser got a new strategy adjustment! Phase 3 is where the change is, which is rather bizarre considering I always thought that Phase 1 would be the spot where something new would happen. The old Phase 3 involved getting 2 stars off of Kaisers fake uppercuts and knocking him down with a 2-star punch. However, Mysteryman figured out that earning 1 star off of the first uppercut and then whiffing it to get hit is actually 0.21 faster compared to the old!
This to me was really cool and this is most likely my new favorite strategy adjustment that happened in Punch-Out Wii. Outside of that new Phase 3, the rest of the fight is the same with Phase 1 still being a pain to do frame perfectly and a very awkward dodge in Phase 2.")

So Punch Out Wii attempts havent really been strong recently so I thought a nice break from the game would be nice and figured I do some MTPO attempts. I was originally aiming for Kaiser TAS since thats been on my mind for ages it feels like. However, I didnt want my Honda 1 attempts to go to waste so I figured I throw in the 3 face jab strat that some of the top runners have been doing to break the Sub 40 barrier. And... I just so happened to break it with literally the 2nd time Ive gotten 3 face jabs (1/64 odds). The execution in Phase 3 couldve been tighter and maybe a .82 wouldve been squeezable but the odds in this run were too ridiculous for me to really care in the end so Ill take what I can get.
TD Macho attempts will come here and there but I think it makes sense for me to wrap up the Kaiser IL strat.
