Over 40 people have been injured and hundreds of houses damaged after a tornado struck the village of Verzeille in southern France yesterday.
French authorities had issued an orange report for storms across large portions of the southwest, with up to 3,000 homes losing power as a result.
Fifteen of the injured were taken to hospital, including a pregnant woman who was injured when her house collapsed.
