frank howarth | Foot Actuated Camera Controller @frankmakes | Uploaded 8 years ago | Updated 8 hours ago
I have wanted to blur the line between stop-motion and time lapse photography. One way that I wanted to do this was to be in the frame while make at stop motion film. I needed a way to control the camera while still having the use of both hands in the scene. I accomplished this by making a foot controller for the camera. The controller is a hinged plywood jig holding my remote camera trigger, allowing me to step on the jig and fire the camera without damaging the remote camera trigger.
