Wow, this did not go like I had planned, getting smoke into a 3D printer seemed at first like it was going to be a walk in the park. After spending way too much time with the lighting and the settings... and finding a way to create ULTRA FOG, I was able to get something that worked. We also did some unorthodox testing with sparkles in this video, I think it may just be my new go-to for the simplest way to test airflow to visualize it.

This printer isn't as full featured as the X1C, but it is very capable and very precise. It also has a heated chamber and can reach higher hot end temps.
