I wanted to follow up with a quick video to show how everything has been working and since it was raining and my camera doesn't like the rain... I whipped out my phone and decided to take some video while it was still happening. The filter is working so well, there might be some small tweaks for a future version, but we're 95% there with this one and with that ultra-fine stainless steel mesh on the inside, I don't even need to think about a clog anymore, I can just let it do it's thing and it can get a cleaning once a season, no more endless removing leaves and bugs and everything else that ends up on my roof.
