Keeping your machines looking great and working well for as long as possible can be time consuming. With the newest generation of Core XY 3D printers like the Bambu Lab P1P, P1S and X1 C as well as The Creality K1 and K1 Max, they all need to have their Z screws greased. Fast movements along with constant z-hops will lead to those brass nuts wearing down. To keep them working for as long as possible before needing to be replaced, we can get some new grease on those screws BUT...

New grease on a dirty screw is not a great idea, those fine brass particles should be removed first, it will make the nuts last longer, and it'll look far better as well.

The other options for cleaning are a toothbrush, a paper towel, maybe a cloth and hope to get most of it clean, but it's a dirty job and none of those solutions were up to the task.

In this video we take one very underrated animal and use it as the inspiration for the solution to this problem. It has some very unique traits and we'll use MOST of them, not quite all of them as you'll see from the video.

Will you accept the challenge I spoke about in the video for a chance to win my praise and Intelligence +2?
